Lauren E. Rowsey
Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Guelph

Picture

Welcome!

I am currently finishing my PhD at the University of New Brunswick Saint John under the supervision of Ben Speers-Roesch before moving on to work with Kevin McCann and Jacob Brownscombe at the Centre for Ecosystem Management (University of Guelph) as a Postdoctoral Fellow. My research focuses on the resilience of fish living in challenging environmental conditions (e.g., oil exposure, extreme temperatures), from the physiological mechanisms that shape performance to the ecological interactions that shape communities. When I’m not doing research, you can find me participating in one of too many hobbies: sailing, mountain biking, paddleboarding, or gardening.
